Érica Faleiro Rodrigues
Érica Faleiro Rodrigues is a filmmaker, international curator and lecturer. Her work as a filmmaker granted her a Skillset Millennium Fellowship Award in the United Kingdom for a series of documentaries on the role of art in the life of refugees. In the UK she was also, for several, years curator at The Barbican Arts Centre. She is a film researcher at CICANT (The Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies), at Lusófona University in Lisbon where she is also a lecturer. Faleiro Rodrigues has published her research in film internationally and in 2020 she secured a grant from ICA in Portugal to direct a documentary on Portuguese pioneer women filmmakers. Faleiro Rodrigues is one of the coordinators of the research group Film, Music and Language at AIM, the Portuguese Association of Moving Image Researchers.
